News and Tribune, Jefferson City, MO May 3, 1936 - Mrs. Wills Dies - Mrs. Lillie M. Wills, wife of W. Z. Wills, Belle furniture dealer, - died in St. James hospital late Sunday afternoon, April 26, where she had undergone an operation April 13. She rallied from the operation and was recovering but her heart became weaker, causing her death. Mrs. Wills was born at High Gate 61 years ago, April 17, 1872, daughter of Lafayette and Permelia Murray. Her father, a veteran of the Civil War, died July 11, 1934, and the mother, who made her home with Mrs. I. Wills until her death, died January 8, this year.

Besides the husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Carter and Mrs. N. T. Clark, both of Kansas City, and a son, William Gibbons, of Ft. Peck, Mont. Also, there is a sister, Mrs. H. H. Smith of Vernon, Tex., and a brother, W. S. Murray of St. James. One grandchild, Kathleen Gibbons of Indiana, also survives.

All were present for the funeral services except the sister in Texas. Three children preceded the mother in death, Ina, 6 weeks; Iva, 13; Gertrude, 22. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Belle Methodist church, W. E. Waddell, pastor of the Christian church, officiating.
