Mrs. Doris Womble, 56, of Hayti, Mo., died Sunday, July 19, 1998 at the Pemiscot Health Systems in Hayti.
Born September 19, 1941 in Huffman, Ark., she was the daughter of Ardell Wren Young and the late W.D. Young. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Terry Young; and one sister, Linda Sue Hill.
Doris was united in marriage December 8, 1962 to Bill Womble in Concord, Mo.
Mrs. Womble leaves her mother, Ardell Young, of Hayti; Her husband, Bill Womble, of Hayti; Two sons: Terry Womble of Jonesboro, Ark., and Kevin Womble of Breanstadt, Germany; Two grandsons, Tyler Womble of Jonesboro and Brian Womble of Breanstadt; Five brothers: Jerry Young and Jim Young of Caruthersville, Mo., Larry Young and Doyle Young of Hayti, and Joe Young of St. Louis; Four sisters: JoAnne Summers of Hayti, Kathy Parish of Olive Branch, Mich., Kaye Williams of Wardell, Mo., and Cyndi Wells of Caruthersville.
Funeral services for Mrs. Womble were held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 23, 1998 at the Bradshaw-Osburn Funeral Home in Hayti with Rev. Mary Nelle McCulloch officiating.
Burial was at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Hayti with Bradshaw-Osburn Funeral Home in charge.
