Lela, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bessert, died early Saturday morning after a few weeks illness. Her illness began with a sore throat, which developed into an abscess of the head.
An operation was performed and the little girl seemed to gain, but a few days later, the little life began to ebb and in spite of the best care, passed away.
Lela was born Sept. 12, 1904, was a sweet child and very patient during her illness.
She leaves to mourn her loss an older sister, many other relatives and friends.
We extend to the parents, the sympathy of the entire community.
