In 1941, Myrtle was united in marriage with Russell Shaw and to this union one son, Dean, was born. The family made their home in Harper and she was a practical nurse for Dr. Galloway for many years. Russell passed away in 1983.
Myrtle married Robert Fawcett and to this union, one daughter, Linda, was born.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Attica and attended regularly as long as her health permitted. Myrtle had become a resident of the Attica Long Term Facility.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Linda Fawcett; three brothers: George, Pete and Bud Culver and three sisters: Marietta Blakesley, Ida Aleshire, and Bernice Blurton.
She will be missed by her son and daughter-in-law, Dean and Connie Shaw of Wichita; three grandchildren, Bryan Shaw of Amarillo, TX, Brent Shaw and his wife, Tracey and April Nunemaker and her husband, Garret, all of Gilbert, Arizona; six great grand children; one great-great grandchild, many nieces and nephews; and friends.
We do not lose the ones we love, God takes them in his care.
