Funeral Services were at the Carson Independence Chapel; burial in Mount Washington Cemetery. Mr. Hufford was born in Nelson, Mo., and lived in Marshall, Mo., before he moved to the Independence area in about 1976. He was a truck driver for the Shade Foods Co. for 13 years. He was an Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Barbara J. Hufford of the home; a son of Independence, a daughter of Marshall; four stepdaughters, a stepson, a brother, three sisters, and seven grandchildren.
