Butler & Son Funeral Home, 19th & Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, KS; burial will be 2 p.m. Friday in the Evergreen Cemetery, Superior, NE. Friends may call a half hour before the service Thursday, at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributions to the First United Presbyterian Church, Superior, NE, the Agriculture Hall of Fame, Bonner Springs, KS or the Wyandotte County Retired Teacher's Association Scholarship Fund, at the Kansas City, KS, Community College.
Mr. Dahlgren was born in Superior, NE and moved to Kansas City, KS, in 1969. Before retiring, he worked for the Burlington Railroad. A Navy veteran of WWII, he served in the South Pacific with the Seabees. He was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars, as well as the I.O.O.F. The son of Charles and Elizabeth (Duwe) Dahlgren, he was born in Superior, attended Superior schools and moved to Kansas City in 1969. Before retiring, he worked for the Burlington Railroad. A navy veteran of W W II, he served in the South Pacific with the Sea Bees. He was a member of the Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars, as well as I.O.O.F. Lodge, Wyandotte County Retired Teachers Association and Victory drive (sic) Senior Citizens.
Survivors are his wife, Etta Blanche Dahlgren, cousins and friends.
