He was born Aug. 31, 1932, in Sunbury, a son of the late Calvin and Helen (Daily) Renn.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Pearl Osman, in 2002. Calvin was a graduate of Sunbury High School and later took various technical classes in the course of his career.
He was employed for 34 years by the Pennsylvania Gas and Water Co. and retired as a foreman.
He was a life member of the Americus Hose Company, Sunbury. Calvin enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and boating, and in his early years, he enjoyed making model airplanes.
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Blaine and Lesa Renn of Northumberland; three daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Russell Snyder of Danville, Molly and Charles Strawser of Milton and Leslie and David Mackneer of Newport; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; and five sisters, Theo Smith of Sunbury, Connie Fegley of Northumberland, Helen Shoch of Sunbury, Susan Klinger of Ohio and Teresa Corbin of Sunbury.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Daniel, Samuel and Donald, and one sister, Viola Lenig.
Friends will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury, followed by the funeral at 11.
Burial will be in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
