Claude Ripley Fausset, Pryor resident, age 91, died
December 12, in Pryor. He was born August 8, 1889 in Erie, KS. He came to Oklahoma at an early age, where he resided until his death. His wife, Nina preceeded him in death in 1969. Fausset owned and operated a farm for many years, he moved to Pryor and was employed with the city of Pryor and retired in 1957. He was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. He is survived by five sons: Clarence of Pryor; Herman of Dallas, OR, Homer of Los Banas, Ca.; and Jim of Los Banas, Ca. Also two daughters: Allie Jo Pollak of Simi, Ca.; and Erma Hardy of Pryor, 17 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 16, at the Harris Funeral Chapel in Pryor. Rev. Otho Brock of the Freewill Baptist Church of Peggs officiated. Burial was in the Boatman Cemetery, directed by Harris Funeral Home.
