The Billings Gazette, Billings, Montana. January 25, 1954 - Park Ferguson, 81, resident of Rosebud County since 1910, died Saturday at the Rosebud Community Hospital in Forsyth after an illness of nine days.


Mr. Ferguson was born in Zanesville,Ohio, Nov. 30, 1872. His youth was spent in Ohio, and he worked for the Pennsylvania and Wabash Railroad in Ohio until fall of 1910 when he homesteaded in the Howard-Finch Community west of Forsyth. In 1920 he moved to Forsyth. On May 30, 1894, he married Bertha Ferguson of Strasburg, Ill. She died Dec. 2, 1934.


Services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday by the Rev. Wayne A. Larson of the Federated Church. Burial will be in the local cemetery.


Survivors are a son, Glen Ferguson of Rosebud; one daughter, Mrs. Beulah Rogers of Custer; 17 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
