Hardy Jackson Frazier, 79 retired farmer of Noble and lifelong resident of Ozark County, died at 9:07 a.m. Monday at his home following a three-week illness.

He was born Jan. 19, 1888, near Wasola, a son o Henry Jefferson and Mary Ann Tolbert Frazier. He was a member of the Barren Fork Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Martha Ann Dunnegan Frazier; two sons, Lee Frazier of Gainsville and Jeff Frazier of Noble; six daughters, Mrs. Dora Evans of Noble, Mrs. Floy Privett of Heppner, Ore., Mrs. Eldra Hicks of Buffalo, Mrs. Vergie Simpson of El Paso, Tex., Mrs. Mescal Sell of Ashland; a brother, Arch Frazier of Wasola; one sister, Mrs. Ninnie Davis of Ava; 26 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Barren Fork Church of Christ by Rev. Cliff Stewart of Pottersville. Burial was made in the Peters Cemetery under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home.
