Born September 14, 1921 in Moreland, Idaho to loving parents, Albert Glen and Martha Revella Wray Forman.
Following graduation from Idaho Falls High School, she graced the airwaves of KID-Radio and many well-appointed dance halls as a singer with local big bands. Her singing was admired state-wide.
She married Keith Vern Otteson, her high school sweetheart, in the Salt Lake Temple on September 15, 1941.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, serving in many positions, including Primary and Relief Society President, and as a counselor in those organizations.
For more than twenty-five years, she participated in a book club. She followed Broadway musicals. She ordered scripts and LP albums and spent hours editing and practicing.
She read all the cast parts and dropped the stereo needle exactly on the right song. Her presentation of "Music Man" was thrilling. She was also active in community service work. Oral was a wonderful cook (her gravy was killer!) and kept a lovely home for her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Gina Fisher, daughter-in- law, Tracy Otteson, her brother, Ray (Maryetta) Forman, six grand-daughters, five great-grandsons, and five great-granddaughters. Preceded in death by her husband, Keith, daughter April Kay, son Gregg, parents, and a boatload of pets.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. in the Winder Sixth Ward Chapel (4366 South 1500 East). Family and friends may call on Friday, November 5, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the services at the Church.
Interment at Elysian Burial Gardens (1075 East College Street (4580 South)).
