From The Wolbach Messenger, December 21, 1961, page 1, transcribed by Linda Berney:

Mrs. Eva Perry, 87, a former Wolbach resident for many years, died Sunday morning in a Grand Island hospital after a long illness.

Mrs. Perry was born June 7, 1874 at Grand Ridge, Illinois to James and May Moss. She departed this life on December 17, 1961 at Grand Island, Nebraska. She and Albert Perry were married in 1892 at Wahoo and lived there until 1901, when they moved to a farm in the Wolbach area. After Mr. Perry died in 1938, Mrs. Perry moved into Wolbach. She operated a ladies apparel shop in town for a number of years.

She leaves to mourn her passing a daughter, Mrs. Daisy Hansen of Grand Island; two sons, Ernest and Gerald of Wolbach, eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Her husband, two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
