On March 18, 1883 in Wayne County, she was united in marriage to David Gilbert Finch. To this union four daughters and one son were born. She was preceded in death by her husband and two daughters, Mrs. Ollie Gribble and Mrs. Ella Hews. On Jan. 24, 1900, she was united in marriage to Peter Nelson Holm. To this union one daughter was born.
In her youth, she was confirmed to the Lutheran church, later joining the United Brethren and then transferred to the Methodist church at Clio. She was an active church member and a helpful neighbor as long as her health permitted.
Mrs. Holm is survived by her husband, three daughters: Mrs. Fred (Mae) Malmberg, of Des Moines, Iowa; Mrs. Myrtle Caviness, Clinton, Iowa; Miss Cora Finch, Allerton, Iowa. One son, Joseph Finch, of Fort Dodge, Iowa and one brother, Alfred Rinkler of Lees Summitt, Mo. She also leavens 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Tom Alley and Mrs. Vern Bettis accompanied by Mrs. Karl Binau furnished the music. Pallbearers were: George Binau, Karl Binau, Marion Pray, Everett Holm, Wayne Johnston and Emmett Johnston. Flower attendants were Mrs. Clarence Richards and Mrs. Roy Mace.
Funeral services were held at the Randolph Funeral Home in Allerton Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. D. M. Crawford officiating. Burial in the Clio Cemetery.
