BERTHA PEARL TRUITT
Bertha Pearl Truitt, aged 75, died at her home in Broadway, Ohio, Saturday afternoon, of heart trouble, after an illness of four years.

Mrs. Truitt was born May 1, 1872, in Rushsylvania, the daughter of James H Hempell(Hemphill) and Mary F.

She was married May 5, 1890, in Middleburg, Ohio, to Edward Truitt, who survives, with one son, Earnest Truitt, of Detroit, Michigan, and the following sisters and brothers: Victor J Hempell of Muskegon, Mich., Mrs. Anna Bruce and Mrs. Georgie Burlen(Burlew) of Michigan, Mrs. Mattie Rea and Mrs. Laura Smith of Marion, Ohio, and Mrs. Jessie Hatshorn(Hartshorn) of Marysville, Ohio.

She was a member of the M.E. Church of Broadway.

Funeral services were held in the Broadway M.E. Church, Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m., Marion Winter, funeral director in charge. Interment in Broadway Cemetery.
