ANNA GALLAGHER BETTS: 75; former Fremont resident-now Schuyler, died Thursday [8-03] in a Schuyler Hosp & had been in failing health the past several years. She was born 24 Sep 1885 at Clyde, where she lived until 1903 when her family came to Fremont. After graduation from Fremont Normal College, she taught school in the vicinity. she was also a bookkeeper at the Farmers Co-Op Union during WW1. On 23 Apr 1919 she wed Harry Betts at NrthBend. The couple lived on a farm west of NrthBend for 2yrs, then moved to NrthBend where MrBetts was in the dray business. In 1925 the couple moved to Fremont where they resided until 1960 when they moved to Schuyler. MrsBetts was a member of StPatricks Church-Fremont, Laides Altar Soc & Royal Neighbors.
Survivors include her husband, dau: Margaret Daugherty-Derby CO; son: JohnL-Elyria OH; bro: Constantine Gallagher-NrthBend; 3 grandchildren.
Service will be Saturday [8-05] at StPatricks Church. Visitation at Lattin Dugan Chamber Funeral Home. Burial in Calvary Cem Fremont.

He married Anna Gallagher 23 Apr 1919 at NorthBend, she died 3 Aug 1961. Survived by Madelon Powers-CommerceCO. Burial in Calvary Cem.
