Eric Magrill DAVIDSON was the oldest son of Wade Hampton and Mattie Magrill DAVIDSON. He met and married Robbie Mae WHITAKER on 06 Sep 1919 in Trinity, Texas. They had three children: Wade Donald, Norma Lavenia and Charles Robert. As far back as I can remember Poppy had white hair. He and Mammy loved to fish and hunt. On our summer trips to visit we would go to Morgans Point and spend the night and fish. That was wonderful. To everybody that knew him he was called Pop. To us 6 grandaughters it was "Poppy". He knew the bible from front to back and had read it through many times. He was a carpenter by trade. In his later years he repaired antiques for customers. Mammy called it junk! There are so many things I would love to ask him now that I am older. And as much as he liked to talk and spin a tale he could tell me a thing or two. I miss him dearly and will look him up when my time comes.
