Byron L. Isbell of Monroe died August 29 from injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was 28.
Born in Floyd County, he had resided in Walton County most of his life and attended Walton County schools. He was a self-employed wallpaper hanger.
Funeral services were held August 31 in the chapel of Arthur Bowick Funeral Home. Rev. Tony Dyer and Rev. Hugh Minor officiated. Interment was in Hill Haven Memory Garden.
Pallbearers were Randy Cromer, Jerry Chambers, Bob Peters, Rob Cook, Nick Chambers, Jeff Link and Robert Burt.
He is survived by his widow Lisa Chambers Isbell, two sons Allen Isbell and Brian Isbell, his parents Jack and Wilhelmina Jones Isbell; one sister Mrs. Ray (Yvette) Hawk, all of Monroe, his grandmother Mrs. Philas Jones of Rome, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
