Edgar G. Severson, 64, of Genesee Street, Pavilion, NY, died Saturday December 11, 2004 at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester. Mr. Severson was born September 1, 1940 in Cheektowaga, a son of the late George and Helen Stackler Severson. He worked as a machine repairman for Le Roy Machine for 40 years before retiring in 2002. He was a member of the Northwoods Sportsman's Club, The Old Bastards Club, a former band member playing guitar and enjoyed walking in Genesee Park. Surviving are his long-time companion, Beverly Rood of York; a daughter, Julie (Michael) Reese of Peoria, Arizona, a brother, George (Ada) Severson of Portageville, five sisters, Jackie (Don) Reniff of Nunda, Donna (Francis) Motts of Warsaw, Ellen (Jeffrey) Alcock of Glendale, Arizona, Ava (Les) Reitz of Warsaw and Connie (Mike) Petryszyk of Denver, Colorado; two grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Arrangements are handled by Weeks Funeral Home, Warsaw with burial in Elmwood Cemetery, Silver Springs.
