George E. Severson,72, retired lineman for the New York Telephone Company died in his Gainesville home on Sunday, January 4, 1959 after a lenghty illness. Mr. Severson was born in 1886, the son of Edgar and Rose Severson. George Severson was a World War I veteran serving in the U S Army, 74th Infantry, Co. G with the rank of Sgt. Funeral services were officiated by Rev. Robert Holley with burial in Elmwood Cemetery, Silver Springs.
