Jessie M. MAHAN, 36-year resident of Steamboat Springs, passed away on November 15, 1975 in the Valley View Manor in Craig, Colorado. She was 88 years old at the time of her death.

Born on December 31, 1886 in Cedar Rapids, Nebraska, she was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Izaiah VAN TRUMP. She received her education in Gothenberg, Nebraska schools.

On March 9, 1909, she married Guy MAHAN in Gothenberg. They came to Routt County in 1936 from Minnesota where they had been making their home. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Steamboat Springs.

Surviving are one son, William Raymond MAHAN of Lawson, Missouri; two daughters, Edith YOUNG of Avenal, California and Eva KLINE of Denver; ten grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Preceding her in death was her husband, who passed away in 1971.

Services conducted by the Rev. Kenneth SIGLEY, were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 1975 in the Root Mortuary Chapel. Interment was in the Steamboat Springs cemetery.

Maxine OHMAN, organist played "The Old Rugged Cross" and "In The Garden."

Pallbearers included Tom DUCKELS, John CALKINS, Sam McBRIDE, Lloyd WHITECOTTON, Les SCOGGINS and Windel HICKS.
