The remains of Mrs. George Martin were brought here from Dallas Center, IA and burial was held Wednesday. Mrs. Martin was born in Erie county, NY, Sept. 24, 1834 and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ulysses Jones, Monday morning, Dec. 12, 1921. On Sept. 13, 1855 she was united in marriage to George Martin. Three children were born to this union, two of whom survive her. The daughters who mourn her death are Mrs. P. R. Archer of Los Anfreles, CA and Mrs. Ulysses Jones of Dallas Center, IA; and one brother, Darius King of Mallard, IA. Capital Times 12/17/1921
