Born December 23, 1921, Roosevelt, Utah, to Andrew J. and Matilda Dahl Wahlquist, he married Helen Perry October 12, 1943 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
An active member of the LDS Church, he was involved in various organizations, Member, Holladay Lion's Club; past district governor of Lions; former manager of Safeway market in Vernal.
SURVIVORS: wife, son, James Lynn, Sandy; daughter, Mrs. Lance (Carol) Eggenberger, Long Beach, Calif.; four grandchildren; two brothers, Glen, Cedar City; Brent; sister, Lily Hansen, both Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, 12 p.m. in the Holladay 13th Ward under the direction of Cottonwood Mortuary. Interment was in Holladay Memorial Park.
