ALBERT BOWLES
Albert C. Bowles, 84, of Tad, died Saturday in General
Division, CAMC, after a short illness.
Mr. Bowles, a retired coal miner, was a World War I
veteran. Born in Putnam County, he lived on Campbells
Creek for 53 years. He was a member of the American
Legion, Big Bottom Baptist Church, and the UMWA.
Surviving: wife, Delia Bowles; son, Albert C. Bowles of
Sissonville; daughter, Mrs. Thelma Dorsey of Charleston;
brothers, Ned Bowles and Lawrence Bowles, both of Camp-
bells Creek; sisters, Mrs. Hattie Kinder, Mrs. Bertha Quick.
Mrs. Georgia Robertson, all of Campbells Creek, Mrs. Olive
Tardy of Charleston, Mrs. Katherine Shockley of Pennsylva-
nia; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Fidler and Frame Funeral
Home, Belle, with the Rev. Raymon Cobb officiating. Burial
will be in Collins Cemetery.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.

I did not see Albert Clark Bowles, Sr.'s tombstone at
'The Collins Cemetery'; however, as can be seen in this
obituary, Mr. Bowles was to be buried there.
Sometimes newspapers make mistakes or the family
changes burial plans, so I can only assume for now that
Mr. Bowles is interred in this cemetery.
If anyone has any information verifying the location
of his grave, I would be most grateful if you would notify
