History. Julia was born at Fort Supply, which is in Wyoming now, but at that time it was in the Utah Territory. Her parents had been called to go there on a mission from their home in the Salt Lake Valley. They were to raise crops and food to help the emigrants that were on their way to the West. They stayed at Fort Supply until Johnston's Army came and at that time they were called back to Salt Lake Valley.
