Child Is Killed When It Falls Out Of Car
Robert Coulson, two and one half years old son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Coulson of Longmont was killed instantly when he fell out of an automobile driven by his mother and was run over by another car on the main highway two and a half miles south of Longmont Sunday afternoon.
The child was in the rear seat of the sedan with his two sisters when the door flew open and he toppled out directly into the path of a car driven by R. Hart of Denver.
State Patrolman after questioning witnesses said Hart had no chance whatever to avoid running over the boy. He was reported driving at a moderate speed and stopped within a few feet but the car had already struck the child, crushing his head.
Funeral services were held in Longmont Tuesday.
