NELSON--At his home in Longmont, 306 Collyer street, Monday, May 15, 1922, Hans Peter Nelson, aged 80 years, 8 months and 11 days.
Mr. Nelson was born in Denmark September 4, 1841, and came to America in 1857. He came to Colorado in 1869 and several years after came to this vicinity, buying the R. I. Franklin ranch, east of Longmont, opposite the Grange mill, where he resided with his family for several years, later coming to Longmont to make his home at the corner of Third avenue and Collyer.
Mr. Nelson was a Mason and a Knights Templar. His family consists of his wife, three daughter, Mrs. C. A. Gillmore of Platteville, Mrs. Zelma Dwyer of Baltimore, Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Carlson of Swink, Colorado, and two sons, Fred of Brighton, and Victor of Longmont.
