Mrs. Maria Brady died at her home, No. 509 Bower street, at 4:35 a.m. today of apoplexy, with which she was stricken Thursday night. Mrs. Brady (Maria McNeil) was born on September 24, 1845, and was the widow of Noah S. Brady, who died at the home of his brother-in-law, A. J. Moody, in this city on July 5, 1902. The greater portion of her life was spent on the farm just south of Eagle Lake on the road that runs from Adamsville to Edwardsburg. Nine children survive her, Fred T. and James B. Brady, who are on the farm; Clifford N. and C. Harold Brady, who live near the home, and daughters, Mrs. M. (Alice) Cornish and Mrs. R. (Constance) Cooper, both of Edwardsburg, and Marian, who was with her mother. Short services will be held at the home at 12:30 Monday by Rev. A. U. Ogilvie of the Congregational church, after which the remains will be taken to the cemetery at Adamsville, where another short service will be conducted by Mr. Ogilvie.
