George O'Neill Gibbs, 55, of Route 4, Box 116, died at 11:45 a.m. Thursday in a local hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Axtell Baptist Church, Rev. Gardner Ellis officiating, assisted by Rev. Martin Duval and Rev. Herbert Conway, burial in Gerald Cemetery, near Leroy.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Anna Dell Gibbs of Route 4, Box 116; three sons, O'Neill Gibbs of Bryan, Dan Gibbs of Lubbock, Tommy Gibbs of Route 4, Box 116; three daughters, Mrs. Charlie Mills of Houston, Miss Sara Gibbs, Miss Ann Gibbs, both of Route 4, Box 116; five brothers, Elmer Gibbs of Dublin, John Gibbs of Phoenix, Ariz., Thomas Gibbs of Okla., Henry Gibbs of Ranger, Marion Gibbs of Borger; three sisters, Mrs. Allen Eakins of Ranger, Mrs. Ruth Jordah of Calif., Mrs. J. L. Casey of Borger.
