ROSCOE E. 'GENE' BLALACK, 70, of Collierville, retired truck driver, died of heart failure Tuesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Tipton in Covington. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Collierville Funeral Home with burial in Magnolia Cemetery. Mr. Blalack, the husband of Marie Blalack for 50 years, also leaves a daughter, Georgia Hadley of Collierville; two sons, Roscoe E. Blalack Jr. of Collierville and David O. Blalack of Longview, Texas; his mother, Georgia Blalack of Covington; two sisters, June Sherrod of Covington and Betty Stout of Memphis, and seven grandchildren.
