Victor arrived in New York City with his family from France on December 6, 1902. He owned and operated Auto Electric and Battery Co in Stamford, CT for 25 years before retiring to Florida, where he enjoyed fishing in the Gulf of Mexico.

Victor Joseph Didelot, 53, former employe of the the Florida Fishing Tackle Co., died Friday night at his home 4520 17th St. N. Mr Didelot, a native of France, came to St. Petersburg eight years ago from Stamford, Conn. He attended St Paul's Catholic Church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Georgette L. Didelot, St. Petersburg; three sons, George A. Didelot, New Canaan, Conn; John G. Didelot, Stamford, and Victor G. Didelot, Erie, Pa.; daughter, Miss Lucille A. Didelot, St. Petersburg, a sister, Mrs. John Weitner, Springdale, Conn.; and seven grandchildren. High Requiem Mass will be sung at St Paul's Catholic Church, Wednesday, 9:30 a.m., Rt. Rev. Monsignor John J. Mullins celebrant. Interment in Woodlawn Burial Estates. There will be a recitation of the Rosary Tuesday, 7 p.m. at the Downs-Metz Chappal, 1045 9th Ave N.
