Mrs. Mary A. Thompson, 80, of 604 S. Greenville Ave., a life long resident of Richardson, passed away Monday in a Dallas hospital after a brief illness.
She was the last surviving original member of First Christian church where she was an active and devoted member at the time of her passing.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at Restland Funeral Chapel with the Rev. L. H. Hames officiating. Burial was in Restland.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Louise Terry and Mrs. Bobby Gene Handley, both of Richardson; a brother, Perry Bowser of Plainview and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: D.J. Skiles, Rudy Reynolds, J.C. Davis, Milton Ingram, Jr., R.L. Johnson and Joe Terry.
Honorary pallbearers were A.E. Grugett, Jake Edgar, Tom Huston, Milton Ingram, Sr., Board of Elders of First Christian Church.
