Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie C. Boardman, 67, of Fullerton and a former Wolbach resident were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the United Methodist Church at Fullerton. Mrs. Boardman died Sunday at her home. Burial was in the Wolbach Cemetery.

Born March 25, 1902 at St. Paul, Mrs. Boardman was the daughter of Nels and Anna Mortensen Sorensen. On March 25, 1920 she was married to Russell Barr. He died in July of 1944.

She was married to Arthur Boardman in August of 1949. He also preceded her in death in 1966.

She was a member of the United Methodist church, the Royal Neighbors and the VFW.

Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Barr of Grand Island and Charles Barr of LaPuente, Calif; four daughters, Mrs. Nick Merton of Grand Island, Mrs. Melvin Horst of Granby, Mo., Mrs. Robert Mace of West Point and Mrs. Carol Boardman of Valley; two brothers, Herman Mortensen of Craig and Alvin Mortensen of Wisconsin; five sisters, Mrs. Christine Scriven of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Harry Braten of Kearney, Mrs. Ed Ehresman of Elm Creek, Mrs. David Kerr of St. Louis and Mrs. Mary Johnson of Canada; 21 grandchildren, six stepsons and three step-daughters.
