William Patrick Bandt, son of Amel and Agnes Bandt, departed this life on the 12th day of April at the age of 64 years, 7 months and 17 days at the Howard County Community Hospital after suffering a heart ailment for almost two years.
He was born at Chambers, Nebraska on August 26, 1892. On July 4, 1914, he was married to Anna Freeland at Fullerton, Nebraska.
In 1917, he homesteaded with his family near Peetz, Colorado and from there he moved to Phillipsburg, Kansas. In 1926, he moved his family to Nebraska where the remainder of his life was spent in the Wolbach community.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Cecil, his wife, father and two sisters.
Survivors are his mother, Mrs. Agnes Bandt, Phillipsburg, Kansas; four sons, Percy, Overton and Harold, all of Wolbach and Marvel of Detroit, Michigan; nine grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Floyd Beach, Phillipsburg, Kansas; five brothers, Oliver of Washington State, Adoph and Amel of Phillipsburg, Kansas, Theodore of La Mesa, California, and Floyd of Calhan, Colorado, and many nieces and nephews.
