Betty Jean Robeson
Betty was born July 4, 1931 to William and Thelma (Dalton) Anderson. She attended high school in Indianapolis, Indiana.
There she met Tom Robeson while he was recruiting for the Marine Corp and they married October 23, 1948.
Betty was a Marine wife and traveled with her husband all over the country during his military career.
She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Preceded in death by her parents, William and Thelma Anderson, one daughter Patricia Ann King and two sisters.

Betty is survived by her husband of 62 years, Tom Robeson of Sunset, two sons, Tommy Jr. Robeson and Richard Robeson both of Sunset, Texas, one daughter, Marilyn Jean McDaniel and husband Mack of Evansville, Indiana, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

BOWIE = Betty Jean Robeson, 79, died Thursday, Oct. 27, 2010, in Sunset, Texas.

Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Sunset Cemetery with Ronnie Lawson officiating. Services are under the direction of the White Family Funeral Home of Bowie.

Survivors include husband, Tom Robeson of Sunset; two sons, Tommy Jr. and Richard, both of Sunset; one daughter, Marilyn McDaniel of Evansville, Ind.; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Silver Lakes Community Church
