Mrs. William C. Duckering Passes

Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Duckering, wife of William C. Duckering, passed away at their home west of Big Sandy at 6:45 p.m. last Wednesday, death being caused by carcinoma. She had been in poor health for some time. Mrs. Duckering had resided at Big Sandy since coming to the state in 1912. She was born in Meeker county, Minn., on Jan. 24, 1867, and was 73 years, 11 months and 28 days of age.

She was united in marriage to William C. Duckering, in Dassell, Minn., on Nov. 12, 1890, where they resided for some years and then went to Toledo, Wash., and came to Montana in 1912.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband and the following children: Mrs. R. A. Button, Longview, Wash.; Mrs. C. A. Hunt, Butte; Mrs. A. O. Cleveland and and Mrs. R. H. Cornett of Big Sandy; and three brothers, Frank and John Blair, of Onalaska, Wash.; William Blair of Tacoma, Wash.; and Ruben Blair, of Fairhalen, Minn., besides other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from the Methodist church in Big Sandy. Burial was made in the Big Sandy cemetery.
