Funeral service was this Monday at 11 a.m. in Middle Fork Baptist Church, with the Rev. D. O. Miller, the Rev. Bruce Eller, the Rev. Ralph Jones and the Rev. Millard Hoosier officiating. Burial followed in Middle Fork Cemetery.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Carrie Rouse Poe; two sons, Home Poe and Ronald Poe, both of Seven Mile ford; two daughters, Mrs. Willie Pennington, Warrensville, N.C., and Mrs. Lawrence Wood, Trap Hill, N.C.; two brothers, William Poe and John Poe, both of Warrensville; two sisters, Mrs. Millard Hoosier, Fly, N.C., and Mrs. William Eller, Landenburg, Penna., and 11 grandchildren.
Terrace Heights Funeral Home, Chilhowie, was in charge of arrangements.
