William C. Fessler Sr., 85, of 5705 Highway 151, Manitowoc, died Thursday noon, Jan. 31, at Holy Family Hosptial, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 1 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Alverno. The Rev. Julian C. Resch, O. Praem,
will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. Fessler was born Nov. 3, 1894 (sic), at Manitowoc, son of the late Anton and Christina Trost Fessler. He married Mary (Mayme) Brunner Oct. 21, 1925, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Alverno. Previous to farming in the Town of Manitowoc Rapids he had been employed by Mirro Corporation for 24 years. He was a member of St. Joseph Holy Name Society and a past member of Town of Manitowoc Rapids District II School Board.

Survivors include his wife, a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Jerome Mullins of Madison; a son and daughter-in-law, William and Shirley Fessler of Manitowoc, two brothers, August and Frank Fessler of Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Baryenbruch of Manitowoc, and Mrs. Ann Ewald of Milwaukee and six grandchildren (private). Seven brothers preceded him in death.

Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home 4 o'clock to 8 o'clock this Friday
evening, where a prayer serice will be at 7 o'clock.
