Mary Emma Anderson died on March 1, 1936. She was buried in the Shrewsbury Cemetery in Shrewsbury, Grayson County, Kentucky. Her husband join her there after his death on January 8, 1941. Their son Hubert "Hub" Anderson was buried there after his death on May 23, 1960.
