Dorothy Howard Bozarth, 78, of China Spring, Texas, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010, at her residence. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, at Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ken Young officiating. Burial will follow at Gerald Cemetery near Leroy, Texas. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29, at Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel.

Dorothy was born in Rusk County, Texas, to the late Grady and Wilma Ash. She dedicated her life in service of love to her family, friends and neighbors. She was a member of Stonegate Community Church and enjoyed visits to Greater New Light Missionary Baptist Church on occasion.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her first husband, Osborn Howard Jr.; her second husband, Joe Bozarth; and brother, Kenneth Ash.

Those left to cherish her loving memory are her daughters, Karen X. Minzer, of Dallas, and Ginger Townley, of Waco; sons, Bill Bozarth, of Ohio, and Joe Bozarth III and wife, Freddie, of Waco; grandchildren, Brian Townley, of Waco, Aaron Townley, of Dallas, Paris Minzer, of Los Angeles, Anna Minzer, of New York City, J.T. Bozarth, of Florida, Jeffrey Bozarth, of Waco, Megan Grives, of Cleveland, Kelley Bozarth, of Chicago and Erin Bozarth, of Cleveland; great-grandchildren, Kirsten, Madison and Mason Townley, of Dallas; brothers, Grady Ash Jr., of Tulsa, and Dr. Weldon Ash and wife, Jan, of Lubbock; one aunt, Kathleen Kuntz, of Waco; lifelong friend, Bill Johnson, of China Spring; and also her many greatly loved nieces, nephews and other family and friends
