HERNDON - Dean "Dick" Orville Bobb, 74, of Box 217, Herndon, died Friday, March 26, 2004.

He was born July 19, 1929, in Allentown, Lehigh County, a son of the late William C. and Tamie E. (Bohner) Bobb.

Mr. Bobb was a retired Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force.

He was a member of the American Legion Alvin E. Long Post 504, Herndon; the Herndon Fire Company; and the Dalmatia Fire Company.

He was of the Protestant faith.

Surviving are two sons, Stuart D. Bobb of Millersburg and Stephen J. Bobb of Ephrata; and two brothers, William O. Bobb of Reading and Ned O. Bobb of Allentown.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bruce Bobb and Marlin Bobb; and three sisters, Katherine Snyder, Jane Steckel and Dorothy Snyder.

Visitors may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the James A. Reed Funeral Home, Market and Chestnut streets, Pillow. A religious service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home by the Rev. Daniel Busch.

Burial will be in Herndon Cemetery.
