Whitney Sylvaneous Hough was born in the state of New York, November 18, 1852, and after several months of failing health passed to the great beyond, June 3, 1920, at the age of 67 years. He was a son of Rev. and Mrs. Whitney Hough. The deceased came to Michigan with, his parents when but a child, his father taking a pastorate at Three Rivers. Nov. 10, 1880. he was united in marriage to Ida Lou Bussard in Orangeville. To this union were born two daughters. They have resided in Orangeville, Milo, Ashley and the last 15 years in Otsego. He is survived by a widow and two daughters, Mrs. Aria? of Philadelphia, Pa., and Mrs. Lyle Shepard of Auburn, Wash., three brothers, one sister and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, conducted by Rev. G. E. Wright, burial was made in Mountain Home cemetery.
