Mrs. Minton went home to be with the Lord Saturday, April 11, 2009, at Masters Health Care Center in Algood.
She was born March 6, 1934, in Putnam County to the late Sam and Hattie Russell Sullins.
Mrs. Minton was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church in Baxter. She loved her family and many friends. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
Her family includes four daughters and three sonsinlaw,
Wanda Corbin, Darlene and Ricky Wheeler, Vicky and Randy Braswell and Rita and Rick Clouse, all of Cookeville; a son and daughterinlaw, Marty and Ruth Vinson of Cookeville; two sisters, Betty Burgess of Baxter and Reba Roberts of Silver Point; eight grandchildren; and eight greatgrandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Minton, and three brothers, K.D., J.B. and S.D. Sullins.
