Walter Leslie Gentry is buried in the Maxwell Cemetery N. I40, Putnam Co., TN. Buried next to Anne (Ellis) Gentry is her son Everett L. Gentry (1904-1975).
BAXTER – Funeral services will be held Saturday February 4 at 11:00 at the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Funeral Home for Anne Ellis Gentry, 91. She died February 1 at the Cookeville General Hospital.
Services will be conducted by the Rev. Roy J. West and the Rev. Robert Markham and burial will be at Crest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Gentry was a native of Putnam County and was the daughter of the late Joel and Mary Harris Ellis.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Mrs. Kathryn Palmer of Warren, MI, and Mrs. Mona McElrath of West Point, MS; 22 grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late Rhea and Everett Gentry.
