Don was the 4th child born to John F. and Ida M.(Esson) Lawrence. He graduated from Brook High School in 1916. He earned his law degree from the University of Michigan. In 1921 he married Luella Maulbetsch. They were divorced. On 1-15-1941 he married Elaine Guier. They lived in Chicago for awhile. They moved to Brook later in the 1940's. Don was a veteran of both World War I and II. He sang with the University of Michigan Glee Club. He also sang in the Brook United Methodist Church Choir for many years. Don and Elaine lived at 205 N Highway for over 20 years. Elaine died on 7-17-1975. Don died on 5-16-1984.
