He began work at Campbell Soup Company on Nov. 24, 1964 and retired on April 1, 2005 following a career as a lead man electrician in maintenance that spanned forty years and five months. He was a member of Springlake Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Denise Asbery in 1970 and by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Lynne Bolton Asbery, whom he married on May 4, 1964, building forty-six and one half years of family and memories, one daughter, one son, three grandchildren, two brothers, three sisters, along with numerous nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
