REVEREND EDGAR E. WEEDON of Sunnyside died at his residence Friday afternoon after an illness of several months. He was aged 81 years. He was the son of the late John T. and Ellen Downs Weedon of Frederick County and the husband of the late Helen Thomas Weedon of Frederick County. He was a member of Sunnyside Methodist church, past president of the trustee board and a member of the Mutual circle. He was a local preacher on the Buckeystown charge.
Surviving are two sons, Oscar K. Weedon of Pittsburg, Pa. and E. Horace Weedon of Brunswick, Md.; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Gerteline Weedon of Sunnyside; six sisters: Mrs. Emma Page of New York; Mrs. Martha Walker of Nantucket, Mass., Mrs. Lewis Smallwood of Petersville; Mrs. Jennie Lee of Hopeland; Mrs. Hester Hardy of Brunswick; and Mrs. Edna Holland of Brunswick, a brother, Hiram Weedon of Bartonsville, two grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
