Brooklet - Otis Lee Ansley, 74, died Monday afternoon at his residence after a long illness. He was a native and life-long resident of Bulloch County, was retired from Howard Lumber Company and was a member of the Harville Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ethel Mitchell Ansley, Brooklet; a daughter, Mrs. Ann Marie Baker, Richmond Hill; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Delores Beasley, Statesboro, Mrs. Virginia Smith, Brooklet, and Mrs. Lucille Ives, Sylvania; six stepsons, Edward Davis, Port Wentworth, Joe Davis, Greenwood, S.C., Douglas Davis, Pembroke, Jerry Davis, Savannah, Charles Deloach, Dublin, and Phillip Mitchell, Colorado Springs, Colo.; four sisters, Elizabeth Lightsey, Juanita Aldrich, and Dorothy Deloach, all of Brooklet, and Christine Brabham, Statesboro; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Harville Baptist Church. Burial will be in Red Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Hodges-Turner Funeral Home.
