William Henry Boyd, 85, Route 3, Springdale, died Dec. 14 in the Springdale Memorial Hospital. He was born Feb. 22, 1883 at Drakes Creek and was a Baptist.
Survivors include two sons, Ray Boyd of Springdale and Earl Boyd of Fullerton, Calif., one daughter, Mrs. Mary Pennington of Fullerton, Calif.; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Drakes Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Claudie Counts and Rev. Jake Drake officiating.
Burial was in the Drakes Creek cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.
