FRANK COOKMAN EXPIRES TODAY
Frank C. Cookman, age 63, 1107 West Fourth Street, Plumber her for about 45 years, expired today at 4am at St. John's Hospital following a short illness. He underwent amputation of a leg recently.
A resident of this city all of his life, Mr. Cookman was born near the present site of the Anderson Country Club a son of Mr. and Mrs. Minter Cookman.
The body was removed to the Earl Sells funeral home and was returned to the residence today. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2pm at the home with Rev. C.J. Kerlin, past of the First M.P. Church, in charge. Burial will be in West Maplewood cemetery.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Helen Cookman; a son Paul Cookman, of this city; three daughters, Mrs. Marion Linville, Miss Mildred Cookman, and Miss Lucille Cookman, all of here; one grandchild, Joan, and five brothers, John, Ray, Lester, Hubert and Clem Cookman, all living here.
