Lucile Haston, age 89 of Dardanelle died Monday,Oct. 18, 2010 at her home.
Mrs. Haston was born May 22, 1921, in Pochontas to Louie and Elsie Penn May. She was a retired nurses aid, a homemaker and mother. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Dardanelle. She was proceded in death by her parents and husband, Clinton "Slim" Haston.
Survivors include her son, C.L. Haston of Bonnerdale, Ark.; a daughter, Pollie Haston of Dardanelle; two brothers, Jimmy May and Jerry May, both of Dardanelle; a sister, Darlene Shoptaw of Dardanelle; eight grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great grandchildren.
Services were at 10 a.m. Oct. 20, 2010 at First Assembly of God Church in Dardanelle with the Rev. C.L. Haston and the Rev. Mark Haston officiating. Arrangements were by Cornwell Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Howard Ringer, David Lievsey, Jeff Frame, Joseph Morrison, Kenny Urchison Jr. and Joseph Gentry.
